AWAKE THOU THAT SLEEPEST! Posted 072220 @ 12.22 pm
I have a word for the Body. The Father is saying: AWAKE THOU THAT SLEEPEST! It is written in Ephesians 5.14: Wherefore he saith: Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of Me, the powers that be are ordained of Myself. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth Mine ordinances; and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? Do that which is good and thou shalt have praise of the same; for he is My minister to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain; for he is My minister, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake. Render therefore to all their dues; tribute to whom tribute is due; custom to whom custom; fear to whom fear; honor to whom honor. Owe no man anything but to love one another; for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.
For this, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not kill, thou shalt not steal, thou shalt not bear false witness, thou shalt not covet; and if there be any other commandment, it is briefly comprehended in this saying, namely, thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. Love worketh no ill to his neighbor; therefore love is the fulfilling of the law. And that, knowing the time, it is high time to awake out of sleep for now is your salvation nearer than when ye believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand; therefore, cast off the works of darkness, and put on the armor of light. Walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying, but put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof.
Behold, Jesus cometh with the clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him; and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. But of that day and hour knoweth no man, not even the angels in heaven, but Myself only. And then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. For as lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with My trump; and the dead in Christ shall rise first, and ye who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air; and so shall ye ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words. Keep looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of your God and Savior Jesus Christ, for ye are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. AWAKE THOU THAT SLEEPEST! Amen.
ALL IS WELL AND WELL IS ALL.
