The Book of Daniel
If you haven't read the Book of Daniel in the Bible, I highly recommend that you read it in it's entirety. There are so many supernatural miracles and prophecies in the Book of Daniel. Most people have heard about Daniel being delivered from the mouths of the lion's. Perhaps most have even heard about the three Hebrew men: Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, who were thrown into the fiery furnace for refusing to bow down to King Nebuchadnezzar's golden statue. If you know that part of the story, then you know that the LORD Himself showed up in the fiery furnace and delivered them without even the smell of smoke on their clothing. GLORY TO GOD! WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE! I COULD PREACH ALL DAY ON THE BOOK OF DANIEL!!!
When my husband and I were just dating, we had Bible Study and prayed every time we were together. Our dates were incredible prayer services. We began to see the supernatural becoming our new natural even before we ever thought about getting married! GLORY! He was my prayer partner sent from heaven in answer to prayer! At one time we were studying the Book of Daniel and I told my future Boaz that I wished someone would make a film about the Book of Daniel. I asked him to agree with me in prayer that someone would make a film about the Book of Daniel.
A year later, I saw a preview of the film A.D. which was getting ready to be released. Of course, I purchased it right away and was thrilled that they had a segment of the movie about Daniel. Then, after we were married, I was searching Christianbook.com for Christian movies because I wanted to purchase a Bible story on DVD for his birthday. I was elated to find the above movie: THE BOOK OF DANIEL. ONLY GOD! We had been praying for someone to make a film about the Book of Daniel and one year later, the film A.D. and The Book of Daniel came out! IT WAS A DOUBLE PORTION BLESSING AND ANSWER TO OUR PRAYERS! You can imagine how joyous we were when we purchased the above movie. WE HAVE WORN THIS DVD OUT ALSO! GLORY TO GOD!
Since God answered that prayer MIGHTILY, I told my husband that I wished someone like Mel Gibson would make a movie about Elijah killing the prophets of Baal as recorded in 1 Kings 18. I think the only reason I prayed for Mel Gibson to make it was because his movie: THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST was so very anointed!!! I have been praying for someone to make a movie about the story in 1 Kings 18.1-40 for so long, that I finally began going onto different movie maker's websites, and pleading with them to do it. So far, I haven't heard of anyone doing it, YET!!! I DECLARE AND DECREE TODAY, 022717, IN JESUS' NAME, THAT SOMEONE IS GOING TO MAKE A MOVIE ABOUT ELIJAH KILLING THE PROPHETS OF BAAL as recorded in 1 Kings 18! GLORY TO GOD!
Daniel and his friends were taken into captivity after Nebuchadnezzar had destroyed Jerusalem. This story takes place after the Prophet Jeremiah spent years warning the people that if they didn't repent, turn to the ONLY TRUE AND LIVING GOD and destroy all of the idols in the land, then Babylon would come and destroy Jerusalem. Most refused to listen to the words of the Prophet, many were slain and some were carried into Babylon as slaves.
(SEE MY BOOK OF JEREMIAH ARTICLE)
Daniel and his friends encouraged themselves in the Word of the LORD and in the words of the Prophet Jeremiah, that God would deliver them from their captivity in Babylon after seventy years. It is written in Daniel 9.2: In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he wouldaccomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. Daniel also had the words of the Prophet Isaiah, written a hundred years before the Prophet Jeremiah.
Daniel knew that the Prophet Jeremiah prophesied that his people would be captive for seventy years in Babylon, but he also knew the words prophesied by Isaiah. He knew that at the end of their seventy year captivity, God would anoint and appoint King Cyrus to set his people free and assist them in the rebuilding of their temple in Jerusalem. And, of course, it happened just as the Prophet Isaiah prophesied. It is remarkable that the Prophet Isaiah even knew the name of the King who would free them, Cyrus, over a hundred years before the prophecy was fulfilled.
God has given America a King Cyrus, by anointing and appointing Donald Trump as our new President. But, just like the wicked men fought the righteous in Daniel's day, the battle between good and evil continues to rage on. This is why I pray daily that God will raise up mighty men of valor like Daniel and mighty women of valor like Esther, FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! I pray without ceasing that God will raise up an Army of mighty Prayer Warriors and True Holy Ghost filled Prophets to stand against the tidal wave of wickedness, corruption, deception and evil in our present day. Those who know me know that I have been praying this for decades!
The Bible is full of prophetic promises. Every single word ever written in the Bible has either come to pass already or is yet to take place. EVERY WORD OF THE BIBLE IS TRUE. It is written in 2 Timothy 3.16-17: All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
I have many articles on this website regarding the last days, the Rapture, the Antichrist, the Great Tribulation, the Second Coming, the Battle of Armageddon, the Second Coming, the Millenial Reign of Christ and the Final Judgment of mankind. If you want to know what is coming next, check out my articles which point you to where you can find the answers in the Holy Bible. Especially read the Book of Revelation. The Book of Revelation is the only book in the Bible that promises a blessing to everyone who reads it!
Daniel was also given many visions and interpreted dreams. He had many gifts and anointings. He interpreted Nebuchadnezzar's dreams perfectly and exactly one year later the dream came to pass. Nebuchadnezzar was on all fours, living like a wild animal, because of his pride. I could preach all day about pride. It is written in Proverbs 16.18:Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall. You can read about this story in Daniel 2. The entire Book of Daniel is amazing! Daniel was even given visions of the future, the antichrist and the last days. We are living in perilous times, yet they are exciting to those who know prophecy and are watching for our LORD'S RETURN! GLORY!
Oh, if only the Hebrews had harkened to the words of the LORD spoken through the Prophet Jeremiah! If only they repented, destroyed their idols and worshipped the ONE TRUE AND LIVING GOD of their fathers: Abraham, Isaac and Israel, what needless pain and suffering could have been avoided. I pray without ceasing that America will wakeup, repent and obey 2 Chronicles 7.14 before it is too late! The wolf is at the door!
Like the Prophet Jeremiah, I too have a fire shut up in my bones to shout from the rooftops to America, the very same warnings God gave His people through Jeremiah! REPENT. DESTROY YOUR IDOLS. WORSHIP THE TRUE AND LIVING GOD OF ABRAHAM, ISAAC AND ISRAEL! It is written in 2 Chronicles 7.14: If My people, called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, THEN will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land.
I WILL CONTINUE TO SHOUT FROM THE ROOFTOPS: AMERICA, WAKEUP! OBEY 2 CHRONICLES 7.14! HUMBLE YOURSELVES! PRAY! REPENT! TURN FROM YOUR WICKED WAYS! SEEK GOD'S FACE WHILE HE MAY BE FOUND! BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE! THE BABYLONIANS ARE ALREADY IN YOUR BACK YARD! WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO WAKE YOU UP?
MAY GOD HAVE MERCY ON AMERICA!
It is written in Isaiah 44.1-28:
Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen:
2Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen.
3For I will pour water upon him that is thirsty, and floods upon the dry ground: I will pour my spirit upon thy seed, and my blessing upon thine offspring:
4And they shall spring up as among the grass, as willows by the water courses.
5One shall say, I am the LORD'S; and another shall call himself by the name of Jacob; and another shall subscribe with his hand unto the LORD, and surname himself by the name of Israel.
6Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God.
7And who, as I, shall call, and shall declare it, and set it in order for me, since I appointed the ancient people? and the things that are coming, and shall come, let them shew unto them.
8Fear ye not, neither be afraid: have not I told thee from that time, and have declared it? ye are even my witnesses. Is there a God beside me? yea, there is no God; I know not any.
9They that make a graven image are all of them vanity; and their delectable things shall not profit; and they are their own witnesses; they see not, nor know; that they may be ashamed.
10Who hath formed a god, or molten a graven image that is profitable for nothing?
11Behold, all his fellows shall be ashamed: and the workmen, they are of men: let them all be gathered together, let them stand up; yet they shall fear, and they shall be ashamed together.
12The smith with the tongs both worketh in the coals, and fashioneth it with hammers, and worketh it with the strength of his arms: yea, he is hungry, and his strength faileth: he drinketh no water, and is faint.
13The carpenter stretcheth out his rule; he marketh it out with a line; he fitteth it with planes, and he marketh it out with the compass, and maketh it after the figure of a man, according to the beauty of a man; that it may remain in the house.
14He heweth him down cedars, and taketh the cypress and the oak, which he strengtheneth for himself among the trees of the forest: he planteth an ash, and the rain doth nourish it.
15Then shall it be for a man to burn: for he will take thereof, and warm himself; yea, he kindleth it, and baketh bread; yea, he maketh a god, and worshippeth it; he maketh it a graven image, and falleth down thereto.
16He burneth part thereof in the fire; with part thereof he eateth flesh; he roasteth roast, and is satisfied: yea, he warmeth himself, and saith, Aha, I am warm, I have seen the fire:
17And the residue thereof he maketh a god, even his graven image: he falleth down unto it, and worshippeth it, and prayeth unto it, and saith, Deliver me; for thou art my god.
18They have not known nor understood: for he hath shut their eyes, that they cannot see; and their hearts, that they cannot understand.
19And none considereth in his heart, neither is there knowledge nor understanding to say, I have burned part of it in the fire; yea, also I have baked bread upon the coals thereof; I have roasted flesh, and eaten it: and shall I make the residue thereof an abomination? shall I fall down to the stock of a tree?
20He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand?
21Remember these, O Jacob and Israel; for thou art my servant: I have formed thee; thou art my servant: O Israel, thou shalt not be forgotten of me.
22I have blotted out, as a thick cloud, thy transgressions, and, as a cloud, thy sins: return unto me; for I have redeemed thee.
23Sing, O ye heavens; for the LORD hath done it: shout, ye lower parts of the earth: break forth into singing, ye mountains, O forest, and every tree therein: for the LORD hath redeemed Jacob, and glorified himself in Israel.
24Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb, I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
25That frustrateth the tokens of the liars, and maketh diviners mad; that turneth wise men backward, and maketh their knowledge foolish;
26That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:
27That saith to the deep, Be dry, and I will dry up thy rivers:
28That saith of Cyrus, He is my shepherd, and shall perform all my pleasure: even saying to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be built; and to the temple, Thy foundation shall be laid.
