Deborah's Poetry

It is written in 1 Peter 4.10-11:

As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God. If any man speak, let him speak as the oracles of God; if any man minister, let him do it as of the ability which God giveth: that God in all things may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom be praise and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

GOD IS REAL

Based on Revelation 19.16: And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

By Deborah Taylor

No matter what you think,

No matter how you feel;

I’m here to tell you,

That God is REAL!

If you give me a minute,

I can prove to you;

That God is real,

And He loves YOU!

I was in a pit,

As low as you can go;

I was miserable,

A life full of woe.

I was in so much pain,

I begged Him to take my life;

I had nothing left,

But sorrow and strife.

I begged Him to take,

All the pain away;

He showed up Himself,

I’ll never forget that day.

For reasons unknown,

He wouldn’t let me die;

He never left my side,

Now I know why.

He let me suffer,

But He held my hand;

He wanted me to know,

He did understand.

He suffered for me,

On the Cross that day;

He loved me too much,

To take my pain away.

He wanted to prove,

That He was real;

He stayed with me,

So He could reveal.

He wanted to prove,

He was EVERYTHING;

The Great Physican,

And the Great KING.

He became my provider,

My strength and shield;

My joy, my peace,

By His stripes I was healed.

He became my brother,

Sister, and friend;

My mother and father,

Even my Husband.

He’s my prophet and priest,

My exceeding great reward;

The lover of my soul,

He gave me a sword.

He answered all my prayers,

Turned my life around;

He gave me power, love,

And made my mind sound.

He took all the broken pieces,

Of my stoney heart;

Gave me a heart of flesh,

And a brand new start.

If He can do it for me,

He will do it for you;

Believe His promises,

Every Word is true!

DADDY’S GOT THIS

Based on Jeremiah 32:27: Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?

By Deborah Taylor

Daddy’s got this, I have no doubt.

I will never do without.

Daddy’s got this, I don’t worry,

I am never in a hurry.

Daddy’s got this, I’m His child,

Thanks to Jesus, I’m reconciled.

Daddy’s got this, I have no fear,

I have no reason to shed a tear.

Daddy’s got this, He really cares,

Nothing catches Him unawares.

Daddy’s got this, He protects me,

No chains can bind, I’ve been set free.

Daddy’s got this, I have joy,

He gives all things for me to enjoy.

Daddy’s got this, I have peace,

I’m my Father’s masterpiece.

Daddy’s got this, He gives me strength,

He’s never farther than arm’s length.

Daddy’s got this, I am healed,

He protects me with His Mighty shield.

Daddy’s got this, He protects,

There’s no detail He neglects.

Daddy’s got this, I have victory,

Jesus died to give it to me.

Daddy’s got this, I can’t lose,

Because Jesus paid all my dues.

He’s coming soon to take me home,

To worship Him upon His Throne.

Miracle Grow
By Deborah Taylor

The Lord shared something I didn’t know.
He said our praises are like Miracle Grow.
Each time we praise with all our hearts,
Our blessings grow,  more He imparts.

Just try it once and you will see,
Your roots will grow into a tree.
Before you know or even see,
The tree will grow and be mighty.

Remember the tree in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream?
It grew so large, reached heaven supreme.
His tree was cut down because of pride.
Yours will keep growing, if you let Him guide.

Remember each time,

You send up praise,
Your blessings are watered,

Soon you’ll be amazed.

He Will Make A Way
By Deborah Taylor

God led His children to the Red Sea,
So He could prove He’s ALMIGHTY.
Pharaoh said: “Where’s your God now?”.
Moses said: “He’ll make a way somehow”.

The people cried to Moses,
“What do we do now?”.
Moses told them again:
“He’ll make a way somehow”.

Moses walked to the sea,
Called on the Name of the Lord.
He put his staff in the water,
They parted by His Word.

Moses shouted to the people:
“God is with us, follow me!”.
They walked on dry ground
Through the Red Sea.

He told them to have faith,
God would deliver them.
Pharaoh commanded his armies
To run after them.

The armies of Pharaoh
Charged through the Red Sea.
When they got to the other side,
God drowned Pharaoh’s army.

Moses shouted to them:
“God delivered us from slavery;
We must follow Him,
We’ve just begun our journey”.

God Is For Us
By Deborah Taylor

HE was with the three men,
Thrown into the fire;
The king ordered the temp
Turned up seven times higher.

HE showed up in the fire,
For everyone to see;
Even the king shook,
When He saw The Almighty.

HE was with Daniel,
When they threw him in the den;
Surrounded by lions,
But they couldn’t touch him.

HE was with Joseph,
When they threw him in the pit;
HE raised him to the palace,
Even Potipher was glad of it.

If God be for us,
Who can be against us?
HE will be with you,
When times are perilous.

He'll finish what HE started,
He is in charge;
If we lead souls to HIM,
Our reward will be large.

Pride Goes Before Destruction
By Deborah Taylor

Pride goes before destruction,
A haughty spirit before a fall;
If you don’t believe that,
Look at King Saul.

He was a humble man,
Before he became king;
He became filled with pride,
And lost his anointing.

He tore Samuel’s garment,
The Prophet who anointed him;
He killed the priests of the Lord,
Sought a witch with Jonathan.

David became King,
A humble shepherd boy;
He was brave and heroic,
Goliath he did destroy.

He committed adultery,
With Bathsheba, his friend’s wife;
Plotted the death of Uriah,
This sin cost his first son’s life.

The sword never left his house,
Suffered much humiliation;
Heartbreak, ridicule,
Death and condemnation.

Look at America today,
Pride and arrogance everywhere;
Evil and shameless behavior,
Noone seems to care.

The Lord will soon return,
Judgment Day will soon come;
I pray America repents,
For being a godless nation.

Many Are The Afflictions
By Deborah Taylor

Many are the afflictions,
Of the Righteous;
But our rewards for suffering
Will be glorious.

Once I died on a table,
In an Urgent Care;
I was gone for 20 minutes,
But I didn’t make it there.

I remember waking up
As the doctor screamed at me;
She was hysterical,
I just woke up angry.

I didn’t make it to heaven,
I didn’t see or hear;
I only felt HIS Presence
Drawing me near.

I remember thinking:
What about Mom and Sis;
But I felt such peace,
There was no sadness.

It was like HE said to me
I’ve got it under control;
I had peace like a river,
Just HIM and my soul.

It wasn’t my time to go,
So I had to wake up;
HE had work for me to do,
So every day I suit up.

Keep Dreaming
By Deborah Taylor

Joseph told his brothers:
“What you meant for evil;
God did it for good,
To save our people”.

Joseph got the favor,
And the victory;
Because of his pure heart,
And his humility.

He forgave them all,
He refused to be bitter;
He was like the Lord,
He wasn’t a quitter.

He trusted God,
And waited on Him.
God gave him a dream,
A revelation.

He died to self,
Kept his eyes on the Lord;
No matter what happened,
Doubt he couldn’t afford.

God has plans for us all,
So the enemy will attack.
He doesn’t want you to succeed,
But God always has your back.

GOD'S WORD IS NOT VOID
By Deborah Taylor

God’s Word shall not
Return to Him void.
His Word is truth,
It shall never be destroyed.

The devil is a liar,
He wants you to doubt
God’s promises,
To keep you down and out.

If you read God’s Word,
And it speaks to you:
Stand on that promise,
Until your dream comes true.

No matter what you need,
Or what you’re praying for;
There is nothing He can’t do,
Keep knocking on the door.

He told us to Ask,
Seek and to knock;
When the answer comes,
Don’t be in shock.

Have faith and believe,
He answers every prayer.
Some answers take longer,
Don’t fall into despair.

Sometimes He says wait,
And we must be still;
The best we can ask for
Is His perfect will.

WHY WORRY
By Deborah Taylor

Why worry,
When you can pray?
Life’s too short,
To waste away.

God is in charge
Of every detail.
Trust in Him,
He cannot fail.

He already knows
Your every need;
Just give it to Him,
And let Him lead.

He promised to supply
All of your needs;
You can’t earn it,
By good deeds.

Just take Him
At His Word;
Be patient and know,
Your prayer He heard.

All your worry
Won’t change a thing;
Call on God,
He’s been waiting.

IS GOD IN ALL YOUR THOUGHTS?
By Deborah Taylor

If your thoughts are on your past,
Mourning a thing that didn’t last;
The enemy is gaining a hold,
You are bound in a stronghold.

If you’re obsessed with anyone,
Besides the FIRST BEGOTTEN SON;
Your heart is not where it should be,
You are offending the ALMIGHTY.

If you are always wishing for things,
Discontent with what HIS Goodness brings;
You won’t have the best He wants to give,
Because you chose another life to live.

If you are ungrateful to the core,
Why should God give you more?
Be thankful for the little things,
He’ll deliver more on angel’s wings.

Our GOD is very jealous, you see,
He doesn’t take your scorn lightly.
He knows our thoughts from far away,
He must be first in our lives each day.

FATHER, PLEASE FORGIVE ME
By Deborah Taylor

Father, Please forgive
My complaints and discontent;
The only thing I deserve
Is your swift judgment.

Forgive my impatience
And my lack of trust;
Forgive my selfishness,
Forgive my fleshly lust.

Forgive my bad attitude,
My un-forgiving heart;
Forgive me if I’ve hurt someone,
Don’t let them fall apart.

Forgive me if I’ve been unkind,
Behaved disrespectfully;
I only want the world to see
Your SON when they look at me.

SURRENDER ALL CONTROL
By Deborah Taylor

When you feel all alone,
Forsaken by everyone;
With no one else to talk to,
Don’t forget His SON.

You’re right where He wants you to be,
He’s got your attention.
He draws you near and holds you,
Takes you to another dimension.

That’s when He speaks to you,
And heals your broken heart;
He loves you more than you know,
He has set you apart.

He wants you all to Himself,
He doesn’t like to share;
He loves you so very much,
There’s no love to compare.

If you give Him all your love,
Heart, mind and soul;
You won’t believe the miracles,
When you surrender all control.

GET YOUR PRAISE ON
By Deborah Taylor

Based on Psalms 42.11: Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

Are you under attack?
Are things not going right?
Are you worn, frustrated,
Too tired to even fight?

That’s the best time,
To “get your praise on.”
Start praising His Name,
Put worship music on.

If you don’t have strength,
To sing Him a song;
Just call on Jesus’ Name,
Then it won’t be long.

You’ll feel the burdens,
Lift from your shoulders;
God’s peace will fill you,
The battle will be over.

NOTE: The Holy Spirit gave me this poem in April, 2015. It was posted on several poetry sites last year. Many people have commented on the fact that Pastor Matthew Hagee & his band CANTON JUNCTION just happen to be on a GET YOUR PRAISE ON TOUR this year, 2016. That is only confirmation to me that God is going to get my book published this year and it will be a blessing! I don't believe in coincidences. There is only ONE GOD, ONE SON and ONE HOLY GHOST! HE speaks the SAME to everyone who is listening! See my Prophetic Word written 021917!  GLORY TO GOD! MY BOOK GOT PUBLISHED THIS YEAR. GOD PROVIDED SUPERNATURALLY! I give God ALL the praise, glory, honor and thanks!

THE WORLD

Based on Matthew 28.19: Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.

Lord, I want to tell the world

How very much You love them.

I want You to speak through me,

To every single one of them.

No matter what they’re going through

Or how much pain they’re in;

What their circumstances are,

You’ll make a way for them.

I want them to know they’re not alone,

No matter how they feel.

You’ll never leave or forsake them;

Lord, show them You are real.

Give me words to speak to them,

Open their eyes to see,

That You love them no matter what;

You love them unconditionally.

It doesn’t matter where they’ve been,

What they’ve done, what’s been done to them;

You can heal and deliver them,

Make them new, help them live again.

HE LOVED YOU FIRST

Based on 1 John 4.49: We love him, because he first loved us. Romans 5.8: But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I love You Lord because You first loved me;

Lost in sin, You still died for me.

Thank You Lord for paying my sin debt,

You died for me before we ever met.

You chose to go to Calvary’s cross,

So my soul wouldn’t be forever lost.

I praise You Lord for answering my prayer;

I cried: “Lord save me”, You were there.

I may never know the price You paid,

When You hung on Calvary’s tree;

But I do know this, I love you Lord

For saving a sinner like me.

There are no words to tell You,

What else can I say?

Thank You Jesus for saving me

And giving me another day.

FORGIVENESS NEVER FAILS

Based on Romans 5.8: But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

I can’t imagine what You see when You look down here at me,

And You whisper so gently: “I love you unconditionally”.

I can’t imagine that kind of love that can only come from above;

It comes so gently like a dove, and fills my soul with such pure love.

With a thorny crown they thrust You in jail, Your flesh hung like ribbons from a cat of nine tails,

But Lord, Your forgiveness never failed; “King of the Jews” is what they hailed.

They mocked You and ridiculed, while You were on that tree;

Even the thief on the other cross said: “If You are God, save me!”

The thief on the third cross somehow knew Who You were;

He said: “Remember me Lord when You go to Your Father”.

I still can hear the words You spoke, You said to the thief that day:

“Assuredly you will be with me in paradise this day”.

I heard You ask Father God: “Forgive them, they know not,

What they do or what they’ve done”, even those whom You taught.

They couldn’t see or understand, though You told them what would be,

They wanted a warrior to deliver them from Roman authority.

You spent three years with all of them, speaking only what You heard,

From Your Father in heaven, You taught them His Holy Word.

When You gave up the ghost, I heard You say: “It’s Done”.

The heavens have been opened to Your daughters and Your sons.

HEART SURGERY

Based on Ezekiel 36.26: A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh.

I had a dream late last night, You came down to me;

You had a bottle in Your hand and performed surgery.

I couldn’t speak or ask of You what it was that You were fixing,

I watched You take my heart and put it in a bowl You were mixing.

Your light shown so very bright, I couldn’t even see.

I saw my heart in Your hands, it was so dark and ugly.

It had a lot of scars and scabs, spider-webs galore,

It was so gross to look upon, it smelled worse than a sewer.

There was anger, un-forgiveness, discontent and hate,

Un-thankfulness, un-holiness; chains, locks and a gate.

I was surprised to see all the ugliness within me;

I blamed everyone for their sins, but my own I couldn’t see.

You gave me a brand new heart, that was sparkling white as snow,

You sowed me up, then You left, all I could do was watch You go.

The only words You spoke to me, before You went away,

Was “you must forgive them and yourself, guard your heart every day."

When I awoke this morning, I knew something had been changed;

The pain and sorrow I knew was gone, only love remained.

Thank You Jesus, my Wonderful Lord, for Your mercy and Your love;

I bend my knees and bow my head, I wait to hear from above.

I felt like I had just been born, everything looked new;

There was so much love inside me that before I never knew.

Thank You Lord for loving me, and teaching me to care,

To guard my heart with diligence, giving me my cross to bear.

KISS YOUR TEARS

Based on Psalms 56.8: Thou tellest my wanderings; put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Dedicated to the Isaacs Gospel Group.

KISS YOUR TEARS

Based on Psalms 56.8: Thou tellest my wanderings; put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book? Dedicated to the Isaacs Gospel Group.

When I cried, I kissed my tears,

Each tear He came and took,

He put them in a bottle,

Then He put them in His book.

One day as I was pouring out,

My love for my Savior,

I remembered all He's done,

I thanked Him for His favor.

I remembered how He kissed His cross,

 On the way to Calvary;

What a precious way He proved,

His love for you and me.

I began to kiss my every tear,

 As they began to pour;

I knew that they would get to Him,

He’d feel my love for sure.

No matter what I’m going through,

Or how much pain I’m in,

I’m happy just to know,

My kisses get to Him.

What a wonderful gift he gave,

A way to show my love,

Since I can't see him now,

Soon I'll see Him above.

Soon we'll hear, what we can't hear,

And see what we can't see,

God will wipe away and tear,

And we'll be together eternally.

BE STILL

Based on Psalms 46.10: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

I will be still and know You’re God,

And I will wait for You.

I won’t move to the right or left

Until You tell me what to do.

I need Your Word to lead and guide,

Me through this crazy thing called life;

Help me stay on the narrow way,

So one day I will hear You say:

“Well done my faithful servant,

Enter into everlasting life;

Here’s the key to your mansion

Built before the existence of time."

You knew me in my mother’s womb,

I’m fearfully and wonderfully made;

And this my soul knows quite well,

That for all my sins You paid.

The very least that I can do,

Is give my life wholly to You.

May You reign supreme in my heart,

From Your will may I never depart.

MY PEOPLE

Based on 2 Chronicles 7.14: 14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. ‘

If Christians were dedicated,

To humble themselves and pray,

I don't think the world would be,

Where it is today.

Instead of judging, tale-bearing,

Trying to destroy each other;

We should be praying,

And lifting up one another.

FATHER, please forgive us,

For our selfishness and pride;

Not caring about The Brethren,

Now they’re being crucified.

Your Word declares in these last days,

Men would be lovers of selves;

Unfaithful, unholy,

That’s where we find ourselves.

I pray Your Shepherds wake up,

Judgment begins at the house of God;

Playtime is over, time’s almost up,

He’s coming with a judgment rod.

I pray the church will wake up,

Humble themselves and pray,

Persecution is at our door,

I pray it’s not too late.

A BEDTIME PRAYER

Based on Proverbs 3.24: When thou liest down, thou shalt not be afraid: yea, thou shalt lie down, and thy sleep shall be sweet.

As I kneel beside my bed,

I worship You, I bow my head;

I humble myself before You now,

You’ll make a way, I don’t know how.

It doesn’t matter what I feel,

You’re the only thing that’s real.

You said “Fear Not” and to “Be still”,

As I listen for Your perfect will.

Forgive me Lord for all my sins,

And all iniquities;

Cover them with Your Blood,

Cleanse me from all of these.

Create in me a clean heart,

Renew a right spirit within me,

I only want to be what You,

Created me to be.

You said You have a plan for me,

For good and prosperity,

It doesn’t matter what I see,

Only You know what I need.

I will be still and trust in You,

With Your help I’ll make it through.

I have no doubts that You will do,

What it takes to get me to You.

Save my family before it’s too late,

Bless and heal them too,

Give me a burden for the lost,

So they can be with You.

Nothing else matters, Lord,

Except You’re coming soon;

I’ll hang on to the Cross,

Until the storms are through.

OBAMA'S LEGACY Written by Deborah Taylor 050118

Based on Proverbs 29.2: When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn. Dedicated to Derek Prince, Billy Graham and Chuck Missler.

From the moment Obama,

Desecrated our White House,

Our leaders stood with him,

All quiet as a mouse.

He began to destroy,

Everything that he could,

Calling good evil,

And calling evil good.

They didn't want the Bible,

They wanted the Quran,

It's not going to happen,

We are not Iran.

He disrespected Bibi,

The church just stood by,

Praising his name,

As everything went awry.

He bragged about his pen,

And the power of his phone,

Took lotsa selfies,

Like a king on a throne.

He put a target on the backs,

Of men and women in blue,

There's blood on his hands,

And his supporters too.

Everything he supported,

Was evil and anti-Christ,

So many unborn children,

Continue to be sacrificed.

He dismantled the Army,

Thus many suicides,

He did all he could do,

To cause many divides.

He sent billions of dollars,

To his brothers in Iran,

Knowing they would kill,

Just as many as they can.

The media loved him,

And worshiped at his feet,

While officers were murdered,

Anarchy in the street.

He created ISIS,

Children were crucified,

As we watched beheadings,

He laughed with great pride.

He went and played golf,

While the cities burned,

Gave himself awards,

None of which he earned.

Desecrated our White House,

When he lit it up,

With rainbow colors,

And the wicked ate it up.

He claimed to be Christian,

The church believed his lies,

His name gave him away,

It was just a disguise.

His only legacy,

Is Revelation 20.10:

When he & the wicked,

Into hell will be cast in!

I pleaded with God,

To expose and dethrone,

Every wicked leader,

I felt like I was alone.

I praise God for answering,

All of my prayers,

Exalting Donald Trump,

Bringing liberals to tears.

The swamp still needs cleaning,

From the bottom to the top,

But God is in charge,

The wicked He will stop.

The blood moons have come,

It's Israel's 70th year,

Soon men's hearts,

Will be filled with fear.

God called His Generals home,

Missler, Prince and Graham,

There'll never be another,

They're dining with the Lamb.

The King is coming soon,

Like it or not,

Get your house in order,

Hell is real, and it's HOT.

The Trumpet will sound,

Soon and very soon,

The Church will meet Him,

No one is immune.

Weep and howl ye rich men,

Your miseries will come,

Death and hell awaits,

That will be your outcome.

These poems were inspired by the Holy Spirit and given to Deborah Taylor to scribe, to share with the world. The LORD will deal with wicked Ananias and Sapphira, who stole her intellectual property, made unauthorized changes, and published them without her permission for filthy lucre. Woe to those who call themselves by His Name and have done so wickedly. The LORD will judge between me and thee.
