GET IN THE RACE! Posted 081517 @ 3.22pm.
IS GOD IN ALL YOUR THOUGHTS? That is the question He is asking today. If not, why not? He should be. He should be the first person we think about when we awake and the last person we think about when we lie down to sleep. In fact, you should be praising Him with every breath, every word, every thought and every beat of your heart. He should be ALL that you think about. It is written in 2 Corinthians 10.5: Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. Every single thought should be captured and measured by the Word of God. You should know immediately if what you are hearing is from the Lord or if it is a lie from the enemy. You must capture wrong thoughts immediately and circumcise them. You cannot allow wrong, negative, ungodly thoughts to take root in your mind and in your heart. You must guard your heart with all diligence.
It is written in Psalms 10.4: The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. Pride goeth before destruction and a haughty spirit before a fall. The Father wants to warn His children about the sin of pride. Remember, Satan and one third of the angels were evicted from heaven because of pride. The fall of mankind came because man did not trust and obey God’s commands, but instead, chose to listen to the lies of the enemy, the serpent, the devil himself. But notice, it was a CHOICE. Everything is a choice. Every thought, word and deed is a choice, which is why we shall all answer to God for each one.
Murder was a thought before it ever became an action. Lies and negative words were thoughts before they were ever spoken. Hatred was a thought before it ever became a feeling. So many people today, especially the Body of Christ, need to learn to capture their thoughts. The Body needs to learn to control their thoughts. It is written in Philippians 4.8: Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
In fact, we will all answer for every thought, word and deed. Knowing this, we should be diligent to control our every thought, word and deed. We need to apologize quickly, repent quickly, forgive quickly and change our “stinking thinking” into positive thoughts. This is why He promises to keep you in perfect peace if your mind is stayed on Him. That means God must be in ALL of your thoughts. When your mind is stayed on Him and He is in ALL your thoughts, your mind will immediately reject the false, negative, lies of the enemy. You will learn to catch yourself when you let a negative word come out of your mouth, and immediately cancel and destroy that word curse.
It is written in Proverbs 18.21: Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. This is a HUGE WORD for the Body of Christ. You really need to let this verse sink in and make a mental note. Every word you speak is either a blessing or a curse. You are literally prophesying to your future when you speak. When the enemy comes in and starts to speak lies, sent to cause you to doubt God and His Word, you must capture that thought and respond immediately with: IT IS WRITTEN! But, you cannot respond with: IT IS WRITTEN, if you don’t know exactly WHAT IS WRITTEN. This is why it is paramount that the Body of Christ to READ THE BIBLE FOR YOURSELVES. You must KNOW what it says. You don’t have to memorize every single word, but you MUST KNOW what it says, in order to rebuke the lies of the enemy. The Father wants His children to KNOW what He thinks, how He feels about issues, what His Promises are, which you cannot know without reading the Bible in it’s entirety, in prayer and meditation. The Holy Spirit will speak to you and shine His Light on the Word. He will give you wisdom, knowledge and understanding. I’ve heard many people state they refuse to read certain books in the Bible, claiming they are too hard to understand. The truth is, they don’t want to know. The Word of God is not a buffet to pick and choose what you like and ignore what you don’t like or what you disagree with. Who are any of us to disagree with the Word of God? Who are we, the created, to argue with the Creator?
Job learned this lesson well, when God spoke to him. It is written in Job 38-42. I suggest you read what God has to say in these verses. Basically, God put Job in his place by reminding him that God is God, the Creator of everything, and Job is just a created being that God created and breathed life into. The Body of Christ needs to be reminded that God is God and we are NOT. Who are we to complain? Who are we to judge? Who are we to question His Word, His Promises, His Goodness, His Mercy, His Judgments, His thoughts, His plans, His will, His actions and His motives? We are nothing but dirt that God scooped up and breathed life into. We can never know the thoughts of God. It is written in Isaiah 55.8-9: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
The Father is lovingly reminding His children to stop murmering, complaining, thinking wrong thoughts, prophesying lies. He wants His children to know that with each negative word they speak, that is not in agreement with the Word of God, you abort your own blessing, breakthrough, miracle and destiny. The Body of Christ must learn what God’s Word says about everything. You must meditate on His Word day and night, and speak only the Truth of His Word. It is written in Psalms 1.1-6: Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. This pretty much sums it up!
It is written in Jeremiah 29.11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Beloved, we are truly living in the last of the last days. Everything that can be shaken is being shaken and God is purifying His church. It is written in John 15: I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit. Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you. Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you. Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
These things I command you, that ye love one another. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloke for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.
Jesus is the Vine and the Father is the Husbandman. We are the branches. The Father is purging every branch that brings forth fruit, so it may bring forth more fruit. He is taking away every branch that is not bearing fruit and will cast it into the fire. This is a WAKEUP CALL and a WARNING. The Father has shut up a fire in my bones to shout from the rooftops, like Jeremiah, that it is past time for the Body of Christ to wakeup from her slumber, and get busy. There is a war going on, between good and evil. There are souls in the balance. Jesus died on the cross for the souls of mankind. The number one priority of the Body should be leading souls to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Time is winding up and the night is coming, when no man can work.
The enemy has thrown everything possible at the Body to distract it from doing what it was created to do. We are not here to live for ourselves and fulfill our own lusts and selfish desires. We are alive for such a time as this to teach and preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to win souls. He who wins souls is wise. He who does not win souls, will be cast into the fire. It is written in 1 Peter 4.18: And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear? It is time for the Body to perform a SALVATION CHECK and obey 2 Chronicles 7.14. It is time to humble yourself before God, and pray, and seek His face, and turn from your wicked ways, so that He might hear from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land. Our land desperately needs healed.
It is written in Acts 13.47: For so hath the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set thee to be a light of the Gentiles, that thou shouldest be for salvation unto the ends of the earth. It is written in Isaiah 51.6: Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be forever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished. It is written in Psalms 102.18-22: This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD. For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death; To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
Do not be dismayed and do not fear but be strong and of good courage. The King is forever on His Throne and He has not surrendered His Kingship. He is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. It is written in Romans 14.11: For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Beloved, it is time to get in the race and run to win. It is written in 2 Timothy 4. 1-8: I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom; Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry. For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
Beloved, it is time to run the race. The clock is ticking and the time is set. It will not be altered. There are souls in the balance. Like the Apostle Paul, we are all charged before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, to preach the Word, be instant in season, out of season, reprove, rebuke, and exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. We are living in the time that Paul warned Timothy about, when they will not endure sound doctrine; but are heaping up to themselves teachers, having itching ears, turning away their ears from the Truth and believing the lies and the fables. You must get in the race, understanding that every soul matters to God. God does not want any soul to perish. The enemy and his false teachers and false prophets are running hard to deceive as many souls as he can, in order to drag as many to hell with him as he can. It is up to YOU and ME to preach, teach, reprove, rebuke, exhort and lead as many souls to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as we can. There is no time to waste. There is nothing more important. I will meet you, in the highways and byways, working alongside of you for our Lord and Master. Remember, KEEP GOD IN ALL YOUR THOUGHTS, GET IN THE RACE, AND GO WIN SOULS FOR JESUS CHRIST!
I have much more to share, but I must stop here for now, because this Word is of utmost importance. I can tell you this: THE BEST IS YET TO COME AND WE AIN’T SEEN NUTHIN YET!!! GLORY TO GOD!!
