GET OVER YOURSELF! Posted 070617 @ 1.22pm.
I have a word for the Body of Christ today. That word is: GET OVER YOURSELF! The Father is saying that He has heard your prayers and answered them with Yes and Amen. He has commanded the blessings and they are already on the way to you. His angels have been dispatched and commanded to visit your house. He is saying: I HEARD YA! He is saying: PRAY FOR OTHERS.
I recently wrote a Word about Job called: DO YOU TRUST ME. One thing I did not mention in that post was the fact that God told Job to pray for his friends, because they had misjudged Job, and it made God angry. It is written in Job 42:10 - And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.
The Father is saying that it is time to take our eyes off ourselves and pray for others. No matter how bad your situation may appear, somebody somewhere is going through something much worse. Somebody somewhere wishes they were in your shoes. There is someone in another country, would give anything just to have clean water to bathe in. Someone somewhere would give anything just to have one meal today, or a drink of clear water. Someone somewhere would give anything to have a roof over their head, with air conditioning. Someone somewhere would give anything to have a refrigerator and a freezer, with an icemaker. Someone somewhere would give anything to have a vehicle to drive. Someone somewhere would give anything to be able to get out of the bed and walk again. Someone somewhere would give anything for the pain to leave their body, and to be healed. Someone somewhere would give anything to have someone to talk with.
The Father wants us to pray for others. It is written in 1 Timothy 2:1 - I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, [and] giving of thanks, be made for all men. It is written in James 5:16 - Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. It is written in Ephesians 6:18 - Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. It is written in Luke 18:1 - And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.
Beloved, if you are in need of His healing touch, pray for others who need His healing touch. If you are in need of deliverance, pray for others who need deliverance. If you are in need of prosperity, pray for others who need a financial miracle. If you are in need of provision, pray for others who need provision. If you are in need of a word, sow a kind word to someone else. If you need a hug, give someone else a hug. If you need a smile, give someone else a smile. Our brothers and sisters all across the earth are in need. It is time to take our eyes off of ourselves, and look to the welfare of others. It is time to GET OVER OURSELVES, and think of someone else before ourselves. It is time to put others before our selves.
If what you have in your hand is not your need, then it is your seed. Whatever you have, sow it, and watch how the Lord will multiply it back to you. What you sow into the lives of others, you will reap. God’s Word shall not return void. This morning, while on his way to work, my husband stopped at a drive through window for a coffee and a biscuit. When he got to the window, the cashier told him that the person in the car in front of him had just paid for his order. WOW. That is what I call the favor of the Lord. My precious sister does that all the time. She calls it PAYING IT FORWARD. It is time to start thinking about others, praying for others, encouraging others, and begin paying it forward. It is time to stop thinking only about ourselves. It is time to take the hands of our brothers and sisters and lift them up. One small act of kindness is a seed that you can sow, that can change someone's life forever. We are called to be LIFE CHANGERS! Father, give us Your love for humanity, in Jesus' Name! Soldiers, let's move out!
