GOD IS NEAR written 2012 & copyrighted by Deborah Taylor.

God is Omni-present, which means He is everywhere at once. God is always near. He is eternal. We are always in His presence. It is written in Psalms 139.7, 8: Whither shall I go from thy spirit? Or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. In the Book of Jonah, the prophet tried to run from the presence of God. He told Jonah to go to Nineveh and tell them that He was going to destroy their city for their sins. Jonah ran the opposite way in disobedience. He got aboard a ship, but God sent a terrible storm. Jonah told the captain the storm was being sent by God because of his disobedience, so they threw him overboard. But, God had already prepared a giant fish to swallow him up. Then the fish spew Jonah out on the seashores of Nineveh, where God told Jonah to go in the first place. Jonah obeyed God’s command and the nation repented because they feared Jonah’s God. God had mercy and spared Nineveh. We desperately need a “Nineveh” Revival in America and worldwide today! It is written in 2 Chronicles 7.14: If My people who are called by My Name, will humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land. May God wake His people up and call them to battle on their knees! Our nation is dying and we desperately need God to heal our land!

Adam and Eve tried to hide from God in the garden after they disobeyed God’s commandment not to eat from the tree of “knowledge of good and evil.” There is nowhere you can hide from God. His will is going to be done, with or without our assistance or approval. God sees, hears and knows everything. He is in charge of every detail. It is written in Revelation 1.8: I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.

If you have surrendered your life and accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, you can be assured that He will never leave you nor forsake you. You can call on His Name and He will answer and show you great and mighty things. He has wonderful plans for your life. If you have not accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, I pray that you do so now. It is written in John 3.16-18: For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Just pray a simple prayer of repentance and ask for His forgiveness. Pray now, you have nothing to lose (but death, hell and the grave), but all eternity in heaven to gain:

Dear Father,

I come to you now as humbly as I know how. I confess that I am a sinner. I am sorry for my sins. I confess that Jesus is Your Son. I believe that He died on the cross for my sins, and I ask for Your forgiveness and mercy. I ask You, Jesus, to come into my heart now and be the Lord of my life. I surrender my life, my will, and all that I am to You. I ask You to take my life and turn it into something beautiful to give You glory. I receive the gift of salvation that You purchased for me on the cross. I ask You to write my name in Your Lamb’s Book of Life. I declare that I am a Child of God and Satan no longer has any claim to my soul. I receive Your gift of salvation now in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

If you have just prayed that prayer, welcome into the Family of God. You are now a child of the Most High God. Now, and this is extremely important, you must read the Bible daily, pray and build your personal relationship with Him. Jesus IS the Living Word of God and He knows who truly wants to spend time with Him. The Bible tells us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together. Find a church that teaches and preaches the Bible. You must read the Bible for yourself so that you will not be deceived by the many false teachers, who are wolves in sheep’s clothing. The devil knows the Word of God quite well and will twist it to try to deceive you. You also need to tell others of your decision. Don’t be surprised if you lose “friends” over your decision. God will give you friends that will pray for you, encourage you and build up your faith. It is written in Luke 12.8, 9: Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Proverbs 18.24: A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

Matthew 28.20: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Psalms 37.28: For the LORD loveth judgment, and forsaketh not his saints; they are preserved forever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.

Genesis 28.15: And, behold I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring the again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken of thee of.

Jeremiah 30.11: For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet will I not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.

Jeremiah 1.5: Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Ezekiel 16.8: Now when I passed by thee, and looked upon thee, behold, thy time was the time of love; and I spread my skirt over thee, and covered thy nakedness: yea, I sware unto thee, and entered into a covenant with thee, saith the LORD GOD, and thou becamest mine.

Isaiah 43.1: But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.

Jeremiah 15.20: And I will make thee unto this people a fenced brazen wall: and they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee: for I am with thee to save thee and to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

2 Chronicles 35.21: But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with thee, thou king of Judah? I come not against thee this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear thee from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy thee not.

John 13.33: Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come: so now I say to you.

John 14.18: I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

Based on Proverbs 18.24: A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly; and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

He’s a friend that sticks,

Closer than a brother.

He’s closer than a husband,

Father or mother.

He will never leave,

Or forsake you,

No matter what,

You’re going through.

He will preserve,

And protect you,

If you do what He,

Commands you to.

He formed you in,

Your mother’s womb.

He’ll be there from,

The womb to the tomb.

He will save,

And deliver you.

He will be,

Your Comforter too.

There’s nothing too hard,

For Him to do.

Ask, seek and knock;

He’ll answer you.

You are never,

Out of His sight.

His angels are with you,

Day and night.

He is our Beloved,

Lord and King;

He is “I AM”,

Our Everything.

Based on Isaiah 5.27: None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep; neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken.

Lord, keep my eyes off worthless things,

I want nothing this world offers.

I want to do Your perfect will,

I ignore all of the scoffers.

I know You died to save me;

You gave all, including Your life.

Thanks for making me part of:

Your Church, Your Bride, Your Wife.

I’m grateful for all You’ve done,

I thank You I’m forgiven.

Fill me with Your love for souls,

Help me to start living.

I know You are always near;

You have great plans for me.

Make me a living sacrifice,

I want to serve You daily.

Fill me with Your Holy Fire,

Speak through me to each soul.

Wake me from my slumber;

Here’s my life, take control.

Based on Hebrews 13.5: Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Thank You Precious Jesus,

For making my heart Your home.

No matter who forsakes me,

I know I’m never alone.

You said You’d never leave me,

I know it to be true.

When everyone else left,

I always still had You.

Whether in the hospital,

Or sick bed where I slept;

When I was brokenhearted,

Your promises You kept.

You were always with me,

You never left my side.

In death You’ll welcome me,

With arms open wide.

It’s a comfort to know,

That I’ll forever be;

Always in Your presence,

Throughout eternity.

Based on Exodus 14 & 15.

God led Israel to the Red Sea,

So He could prove He’s ALMIGHTY.

Pharaoh said: “Where’s your God now?”

Moses said: “He’ll make a way, somehow.”

The people cried to Moses:

“What do we do now?”

He told them again:

“He’ll make a way, somehow.”

Moses shouted to them:

“God is with us, follow me!”

They walked on dry ground,

Through the Red Sea.

The armies of Pharoah,

Charged through the sea.

When they got to the center,

God drowned his army.

Moses told his people:

“We’re free from slavery;

We’ve only just begun,

This wonderful journey.

Based on Psalms 106.4: Remember me, O LORD, with the favor that thou bearest unto thy people: O visit me with thy salvation.

I know you think that I’m not there,

Or you wouldn’t be so full of fear.

You should’ve known I’d never leave.

I’m always there, can’t you believe?

I told you I would never forsake,

I’ll never let your heart break.

I’ve been patiently waiting,

Is your memory fading?

I told you, if you’d call on Me;

I’d show you something so mighty.

I’m your Father, I’m holding you;

I will make all things new.

When will you learn to trust Me?

I’m your Abba, the ALMIGHTY.

There’s nothing that I wouldn’t do,

I sent My SON to die for you.

Don’t be like those who forget,

And treat me like We never met.

Give Me a chance to prove to you,

There’s nothing that I cannot do.

Based on Matthew 25.34-36: Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

There’s a wonderful group of people,

Who dwell together in unity.

They’re Disciples of Jesus Christ,

And serve well their community.

They feed the poor and needy,

Give the thirsty a drink;

Clothe the naked, visit the sick,

And prisoners in the clink.

Nobody is a stranger,

They're a huge family;

They take care of each other,

There is no disunity.

I thank God for those people,

Who live by His commands.

They walk by faith and not by sight;

Trusting in His hands.

They go where He leads them,

Spread cheer throughout the land;

They are sold out to the Lord,

On His promises they stand.

As Believers, it is our duty and honor to give God glory for everything He has done, is doing and will do. He created us. He created everything. He is our Savior, deliverer, healer, protector, provider, teacher, comforter, way-maker, friend and lover of our souls. God so loved the world that He sent His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins. He has given us eternal life through His Son, Jesus Christ. He has promised to meet all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. He has done great things. No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him from them all. He will never leave or forsake us. He is our Creator. He has given us breath and life and all that we have. He said if we call His Name, He would answer us and show us great and mighty things that we know not. If you have a need today, call on Him. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He will answer me, He will answer you. If He will perform miracles in my life, He will perform miracles in your life. I am a living testimony that God is Real, He’s always near and nothing is impossible for Him. I give Him glory every morning for giving me another day. I give Him glory that I am not burning in hell right now. He deserves all the praise, glory and honor due His Name!

Psalms 115.1: Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.

Isaiah 42.8: I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images.

1 Chronicles 16.35: And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, and glory in thy praise.

Ephesians 1.17: That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Revelation 16.9: And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.

Revelation 14.7: Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgement is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

2 Corinthians 3.18: But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

1 Chronicles 16.2: Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalms 84.11: For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Psalms 29.2: Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

2 Corinthians 4.6: For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

Jeremiah 13.16: Give glory to the LORD your God, before he causes darkness, and before your feet stumble upon the dark mountains, and, while ye look for light, he turn it into the shadow of death, and make it gross darkness.

Malachi 2.2: If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yeah, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

1 Samuel 6.5: Wherefore ye shall make images of your emerods, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.

Based on Psalms 96.8: Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

For hearing my prayers,

Answering each one,

For trials, tribulations,

Blessings yet to come;

The hairs on my head,

You count each one,

I give You glory,

For all You’ve done.

You are Alpha, Omega,

The King who is to come,

For Your great mercy,

And Your Wonderful Son;

For salvation,

And eternity,

I’ll give You glory,

You’re the Bright Morning Star,

Root of Jesse, for who You are:

Lord of Lords, soon coming King,

I give You glory for everything.

For Your precepts,

And Your Word;

Your prophets,

Saints, and martyrs;

For the Book,

Of Revelation,

I give You glory,

For all of them.

For the Torah, David’s poetry;

For setting Your Chosen Ones free;

For the Gospels, Acts, Paul’s letters too,

I give You glory for all You do.

For blessings,

And lifting up my head,

For catching the tears,

I cried in bed;

For answering,

Before I call,

I give You glory,

For it all.

Based on Deuteronomy 8.11: Beware that thou forget not the LORD thy God, in not keeping his commandments, and his judgments, and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

It’s the doom of man,

That they forget.

When God delivers you:

You must give Him all glory,

Praise and honor too.

Don’t forget how the sea divided,

When the enemy was thrown down.

Don’t forget the horse and rider,

Were altogether drowned.

Don’t forget who it was,

That fought the battle for you.

Don’t forget He was there,

When everyone else left you.

Don’t forget who it was,

That gave all you have today.

He daily loads you with benefits,

He gives and takes away.

Don’t forget to praise Him,

Every day with all your heart.

Stay in His Word, be thankful;

And His presence won’t depart.

Based on Psalms 1.3: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

The Lord shared something,

I didn’t know.

He said our praises,

Are like “Miracle Grow.”

Each time we praise,

With all our hearts;

Our blessings grow,

More He imparts.

Just try it once,

And you will see,

Your roots will grow,

Into a tree.

Before you know,

Or even see,

The tree will grow,

And be mighty.

Remember Nebuchadnezzar’s dream,

The tree that reached heaven supreme?

His tree was cut down because of pride;

Yours will keep growing, if you let Him guide.

Praise Him when you don’t feel like it.

He will fill you with His Holy Spirit.

Even as you send up praise;

Blessings pour, you’ll be amazed.

Based on Jeremiah 29.11: For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

All we endure was,

Designed for you and me.

God uses circumstance,

To push us into destiny.

He delivered Israel,

From slavery.

He can do the same,

For you and me.

He brought us through,

To show what’s inside.

We had to endure,

The roller coaster ride.

He used Pharaoh,

To show them who they were.

He’s the same yesterday,

Today, and forever.

I praise God for,

All our enemies.

He used them to push,

Us into destinies.

Our latter years will be,

Greater than our past.

The haters will hate,

But our blessings will last.

You wouldn’t know His presence,

Like you do,

If He hadn’t allowed,

The enemy to attack you.

We’re forever changed,

We’ll never be the same.

God uses enemies,

Praise His Holy Name.

Based on Psalms 109.30: I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yeah, I will praise him among the multitude.

I refuse to let the rocks,

Out praise me.

I give You all praise,

Honor and glory.

You delivered me from,

Bondage and slavery.

You protected me,

From the enemy.

You fought all,

My battles for me.

You didn’t let the waves,

Overtake me.

You calmed the storm,

And walked on the sea.

You trained my hands for war,

Gave me the victory.

You taught me to pray,

With Your authority.

You sent the Comforter,

To guide me spiritually.

Your warring angels,

Camped around me.

You blessed me with blessings,

In Deuteronomy.

You poured until it flowed,

Over to my family.

You have shown me,

Great and mighty things.

Thank You for favor,

And joy Your presence brings.

You’ve proven You’re the,

Creator of all things.

Each morning I look for,

What Your mercy brings.

I thank You for all,

Your innumerable blessings.

It is written in 1 Thessalonians 5.17: Pray without ceasing. Why pray? It is written in James 5.16: The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Prayer is not only commanded by God, it is also having fellowship with God. Jesus prayed about everything, before He made a move. He asked God for guidance and direction. He prayed prayers of thanksgiving. He prayed for healing, for His disciples and He is even now at the right hand of God ever interceding for us. He is our Intercessor. If Jesus had to pray to the Father about everything, how much better off we would be if we went to the Father first? I have learned that if I “take it to Jesus” and leave it there, I always get a much better outcome. I’ve also noticed that people who try to solve things themselves, or get the opinions of others, usually end up worse off than they would have been if they had called on God. The Holy Spirit also intercedes for us, with groanings that cannot be uttered. As a child of the Most High God, you can pray and cast all your cares on Him, knowing that He careth for you. He promised that when we call on Him, He will answer us and show us great and mighty things. Jesus taught us how vital prayer is to maintain our relationship with our heavenly Father. Prayer is giving God glory, honor and adoration. Prayer is recognizing that He alone is God. Prayer is seeking God. He told us to ask, seek and knock. Prayer is spiritual warfare. As a child of God, we can bind on earth what is bound in heaven and we can loose on earth what is loosed in heaven. It is written in 2 Chronicles 7.14: If My people, who are called by My Name, will humble themselves and pray, and seek My Face, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sins and heal their land. It is my prayer that ALL who are CALLED BY HIS NAME, will obey this call to battle and pray without ceasing. Pray and declare His Words and stand on His promises, and the supernatural will become your new natural and the impossible will be possible. Let us pray, without ceasing!

Romans 1.9: For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of His Son, that without ceasing I make mention of you always in my prayers.

1 Samuel 12.23: Moreover, as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you; but I will teach you the good and the right way.

Acts 12.5: Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.

Hebrews 13.3: Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Matthew 5.10: Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5.12: Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

John 15.20: Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.

Ephesians 6.20: For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Colossians 4.3: Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:

2 Corinthians 4.9: Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

Revelation 12.13: And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

Psalm 122.6: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

James 5.16: Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual, fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

Luke 18.1: And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint.

Based on Romans 8.34: Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

Thanks for praying,

To our Father in heaven.

Thank You, Holy Ghost,

For making intercession.

We can’t pray,

When our spirit is so weary;

We’re heavy burdened,

Our lives seem so dreary.

We get overwhelmed,

No one cares for our soul.

When all falls apart,

Feels like we’ve lost control;

Help us remember,

You’re interceding for us.

The Father’s working each,

Detail out for us.

Remind us to give,

Thanks in all and rejoice.

Calm our spirits,

With Your still, small voice.

Give peace like a river,

To attend our soul,

Help us relax,

 And give You control.

Help us surrender,

Our lives and our will,

Help us to trust You,

And just be still.

Teach us to trust You,

With all things,

As we take shelter,

Under Your wings.

You’ll never give us,

More than we can bare.

Remind us that You,

Answer each prayer.

Give us strength,

To endure until the end,

When You call us up,

And we ascend.

Based on Philippians 4.19: But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Why worry,

When you can pray?

Life’s too short,

To waste away.

God’s in charge,

Of each detail.

Just trust in Him,

He cannot fail.

He already knows,

Your every need.

Just give it to Him,

And let Him lead.

He promised to supply,

All your needs.

You can’t earn them,

By good deeds.

Just take God,

At His Word;

Believe every,

Prayer He heard.

All your worry,

Won’t change a thing.

Call on God,

He’s been waiting.

Based on 2 Chronicles 7.14: If My people, which are called by My Name, shall humble themselves and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

You said if I,

Humble myself and pray,

Repent of my sins,

Turn from my wicked way;

You’d hear from heaven,

Forgive all my sin.

I humbly ask You,

To heal my nation.

O Lord, forgive us,

For our sins:

Murder, idolatry,

And abortions.

Expose and dethrone,

The wicked today.

Exalt godly leaders,

Who honor Your way.

Remove the scales,

From our eyes and ears;

Restore righteousness,

And renew our years.

You’re our only hope,

In Jesus’ Name, I pray;

Make us a nation,

That will obey.

Raise up an army,

Of Worshippers,

Make us mighty,

Prayer warriors.

Anoint us with,

Your Spirit and fire,

Let all Satan’s plots,

And plans backfire.

Based on 2 Chronicles 14:2-6: And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God: For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and brake down the images, and cut down the groves: And commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment. Also he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places and the images: and the kingdom was quiet before him. And he built fenced cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.

Send us an Asa,

We desperately need:

A godly man,

Who Your Word will heed.

A leader who won’t,

Compromise or bow down,

To any other god;

Strange altars he’ll cut down.

A man who fears the Lord,

Who’ll face our enemies;

Who’s not afraid to confront,

Tough issues directly.

A man who puts God first,

And understands;

Without God we’ll lose,

This nation won’t stand.

Asa wasn’t timid,

He faced many enemies.

He trusted God,

And won many victories.

He destroyed all images,

Burnt foreign altars down;

Burnt all groves of strange gods,

To the ground.

I humble myself,

And call on Your Name,

We need a man like Asa,

Not seeking fame.

Father, dethrone,

The wicked today.

Have mercy and heal,

Our land, I pray.

Based on 2 Kings 6.17: And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.

Say it, say it, say it,

Until you see it, see it, see it.

It will manifest,

If you declare and decree it.

The servant told Elisha:

“What shall we do?”

“We are surrounded,

They’ll kill me and you.”

He was full of fear,

When he saw all the men.

Elisha said: “There’s more,

With us than with them.”

He asked God to open,

His servant’s eyes.

The servant looked up,

In great surprise.

The servant saw,

Many fiery chariots.

God smote the enemy,

With blindness.

“How big is your God?”

Is the question for today.

With faith, all is possible,

When you pray.

Let us see,

Your angels all around.

No matter what,

You won’t let us drown.

If needed,

An angel can manifest;

One stood by me,

While going through a test.

Most are like Thomas,

Who can only believe:

If they see for themselves;

Then they’re relieved.

If you’re in a lion’s den,

Or a fiery trial;

You’ll see for yourself,

There’ll be no denial.

Based on Psalms 122.6: Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.

I never thought,

I’d live to see the day,

The world would,

Just like 1948.

I can’t believe the church,

has turned it’s back;

Israel is surrounded,

under such attack.

I know You’ll deliver,

Her from her enemies.

I pray the church wakes up,

Gets back on her knees.

How can they call,

Themselves by Your Name,

And not love Your Chosen Ones,

It’s such a shame.

Your Word tells us,

That salvation:

Is for the Jew first,

Then the Gentile nation.

I never thought America,

The land I love;

Would forget all blessings,

Bestowed from above.

I pray for peace for Jerusalem,

A divine hedge of protection;

Over Your Chosen Ones,

And the Jewish nation.

Based on 1 Thessalonians 5.17: Pray without ceasing.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll pray,

If You just grant me,

One more day.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll praise,

With all my heart,

All my days.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll sing,

Of Your love and mercy,

My Great King.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll dance,

If You give me,

Just one more chance.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll shout,

Until every demon,

Is cast out.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll love,

The Brethren here,

‘Til called above.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll preach,

By Your Spirit,

As He will teach.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll serve,

And give You glory,

You deserve.

From can ‘til can’t,

Is how I’ll live,

I ask You for,

More seed to give.

From can ‘til can’t,

I’ll honor You,

Until my very,

Life is through.

The Bible has a great deal to say about deception. Deception is the opposite of truth. The devil is a liar, the father of lies and was a murderer from the beginning. Anything that is contrary to the Word of God, is deception. It is written in John 14.6: Jesus saith unto him, I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. It is written in John 1.1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It is written in John 1.14: And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. Jesus Christ is the WORD. HE IS the Only Begotten Son of God. There are many false teachers claiming many ways to heaven, but JESUS CHRIST IS THE ONLY WAY! It is written in Acts 4.12: Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

There is great deception on the earth today and many are being deceived daily. If you know the Truth, which is the Word of God, you will not be deceived. The problem today among most, especially those called by His Name, is that they are biblically illiterate. They are too busy or too lazy to read the Bible for themselves, by their own choice. There are way too many distractions in this fast paced world. Most would rather listen to a sermon or read anything other than the Bible itself. The only way to know the Truth is to spend time in the Word of God. If you do not take the time to read, pray and listen to the Holy Spirit; you will remain ignorant of the truth in God’s Word. The enemy knows the Word but twists it to suit his purpose, which is to deceive the world. Remember how the enemy tried to tempt Jesus in the wilderness? Jesus answered Satan with: “It is written.” The Word of God, and prayer, is our only weapon against deception. The Bible warns against false prophets, false teachers, false teachings and doctrines of demons. They are wolves in sheep’s clothing. There are many men and women today that are biblically illiterate, preaching lies from the pit of hell. I pray that you will make a commitment to read the Word of God daily so that you do not become deceived. Seek God while He may be found. The Holy Spirit is our Teacher. We need Him more than ever because we are living the in last days. I pray you make a commitment to read the Bible daily. God knows who loves Him, and wants to spend time with Him. If you truly want to spend time with God, you must spend time in His Word. He is the Living Word. He knows those who are truly seeking Him with their whole hearts. He knows who is seeking His face and sincerely desiring to spend time in His Word. He is The Word, the Living Word of God.

Jeremiah 14.14: Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart.

Jeremiah 23.26: How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? Yeah, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;

Jeremiah 14.15: Therefore thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that prophesy in my name, and I sent them not, yet they say: Sword and famine shall not be in this land; By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

Based on Jeremiah 8.18: Behold the voice of the cry of my people because of them that dwell in a far country: Is not the LORD in Zion? Is not her King in her? Why have they provoked me to anger with their graven images, and with strange vanities?

As I look around,

This is what I see:

Pain, heartache,

And such poverty;

Persecution, betrayal,

And deception,

Selfishness, divorce,

And abortion.

I see the wicked prosper,

More each day.

I watch how justice,

Turns the other way.

They call good evil,

And call evil good;

You’re not safe,

In your neighborhood.

There is much deception,

Abounding today,

Even the priests,

Have chosen their own way.

They teach doctrines of demons,

And they know not,

They weren’t chosen,

They were never taught.

They lie for money,

And rewards from men,

They care not,

They’re deceiving them.

The Holy Ghost is silent,

When they teach lies;

Saying: “Do what is right,

In your own eyes.”

This is a wakeup call,

To the whole world:

The King is coming soon,

His anger unfurled.

He’s coming like a lion,

Not a gentle Lamb;

He’s coming to judge us all,

He’s the Great I AM.

Based on 2 Timothy 4.7, 8: I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

His hand is on the thermostat,

He turns it up or down.

He puts us in the fire;

Only He wears the crown.

He’s in charge of each detail,

We're where He wants us to be.

He’s teaching us to hear His voice,

Not lies from the enemy.

He promised not to give us,

More than we can bear.

He’s strengthening our inner man,

All who have an ear to hear.

All the Brethren are,

Going through the same trials.

We must stay close to the Lord,

Not fall for the devil’s wiles.

He told us in these last days,

Deception would abound;

Deceiving the very elect,

If they put their shields down.

Lord, strengthen us like  Paul,

As he kept his eyes on you.

All the way to the chopping block,

You make all things new.

Based on Mark 13.22: For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

Flee from the false prophet,

Read the Word yourself.

Return to the Father,

Get your Bible off the shelf.

Don’t listen to men,

Believe every word is true.

Read it yourself,

The Holy Ghost reveals truth to you.

If you want to know the truth,

That will set you free;

Seek God with all your heart,

He’ll answer your plea.

His Word declares,

Deception will abound;

Even the elect could be,

Misled and taken down.

Test every spirit,

Read the Bible every day.

Listen for His voice,

Say: “This is the way.”

The Holy Ghost,

Is a light to our path;

A lamp to our feet,

He gives wisdom if we ask.

There are wolves,

In sheep’s clothing,

Behind pulpits,

They are hiding;

Sitting in every pew,

Working hard to deceive you.

The only way to protect yourself,

Is to get your Bible off the shelf.

If you read it,

You won’t believe;

Those false teachers

Sent to deceive.

Based on Revelation 20.10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and they shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

I know time is short,

The end is very near.

I want to be a warrior,

The enemy will fear.

Make me a wrecking ball,

To his kingdom.

Give me discernment,

And godly wisdom.

Help me do great damage,

To the enemy’s camp.

Wherever You lead,

Let Your angels encamp.

You promised,

In Revelation 20.10:

The beast and false prophet,

Will be dealt with then.

The antichrist spirit,

Is alive and well;

Deceiving the lost,

Dragging many to hell.

Fill me with Your,

Spirit, I pray.

I want to see Your glory,

Put on display.

Fill me with Your Fire,

From within,

Give me strength,

To overcome them.

Until You take me home,

I’ll put my armor on.

I won’t fear the devil,

Make me a Champion.

Based on Matthew 21.13: And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.

I visited a church,

With someone I met.

I couldn’t believe what I saw,

I wish I could forget.

I saw “Starbucks” and “Krispy Kreme”,

As I looked around.

If Peter was here,

He’d burn it to the ground.

It made me sick,

I didn’t want to be rude;

I sat down and prayed,

For a right attitude.

It was the worst sermon,

I have ever heard;

No Bibles or hymnals,

None of God’s Word.

They prayed for wealth,

And a life of ease,

They asked only for,

Financial opportunities.

What happened to making,

Disciples of Christ?

Why aren’t they teaching,

Winning souls is wise?

I felt like Jesus,

When He drove them out;

With a whip,

He threw them all out.

“You’ve made my Father’s house,

A den of thieves!”

Lord, expose deception, please.

Based on Isaiah 5.14: Therefore, hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure: and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoiceth, shall descend into it.

A lot of bad things,

Can happen in this life.

The world is waxing worse,

So much hatred and strife.

Evil men, seducers,

Waxing worse every day;

It seems the world,

Has fallen in decay.

Murder, hatred,

Death, destruction,

Abuse, pornography,

Child abduction;

Pride, arrogance,

Calling evil good,

Christians don’t behave,

As they should.

Good manners aren’t taught,

Nor any respect;

Children raise themselves,

Alone and unchecked.

You don’t have to,

Drive very far,

To get run off the road,

By another car.

Deception, prejudice,

Hatred everywhere;

Even going to the movies,

You'd  better beware.

The worst thing that can happen,

To you or me,

Is reject God’s Son,

And enter eternity.

Since none of us know,

When we will die,

Get saved now,

Before your last good-bye.

Death can come at any time,

No matter your age;

You never know when,

You’ll be taken off stage.

Jesus paid the price,

For all of our sin,

Just call on His Name,

And be forgiven.

Don’t put it off,

Not another minute.

Hell is just a breath away,

Don’t wake up in it.

Acts 26.20: But shewed first unto them of Damascus, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the coasts of Judaea, and then to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, and do the works meet for repentance.

Samuel heard his name,

Eli said: “Go back to bed.”

He heard it again,

After three times, he said:

“Your servant heareth.”

God said: “I’ll do a new thing.”

“It’ll make their ears tingle,

All who are listening.”

He said: “Turn to God,

Put all idols away,

Turn with all your heart,

And serve Him today.”

“Then He’ll deliver us,

From all enemies,

Whoever attacks,

Will face God’s penalties.”

I believe his words,

Should be preached today,

In America,

Every hedge and highway.

If we continue,

In our rebellion;

God will let the,

Enemy win.

How can we expect,

God to keep us safe,

Or deliver us from enemies,

Already at the gate?

I pray He will open,

Our eyes to see,

We’re begging for judgement,

From the Almighty.

Like John the Baptist warned,

Jeremiah too:

“Repent, turn to God,

Or He’ll destroy you.”

Even Nineveh,

When Jonah warned them;

Repented so God,

Would not destroy them.

Based on Mark 13.34-37: For the Son of man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch. Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping. And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch!

The Lord cometh to judge the earth,

And the world in righteousness;

And the people with His truth:

Be about Your Father’s business.

He will judge the people with equity,

For He is coming soon to reign.

When He comes will He find you guilty?

With the wicked will you be slain?

Will you be found watching,

And waiting for the Lord?

Will you occupy until He comes,

Or be sleeping because you’re bored?

For the Son of man has already come,

To seek and save the lost.

Each of us must stay the course,

No matter how great the cost.

His enemies don’t want to see,

His return in the clouds.

But they'll have to bow their knees,

Confessing Jesus is Lord to crowds.

We see these things coming to pass,

All the signs of the last days;

Our Redemption draweth nigh,

Look up to heaven and give praise!

Based on Revelation 20.2: And he laid hold of the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years.

It’s the same old devil,

With the same old tricks.

Killing our children,

Playing politics.

Satan knows these babies,

Will be prophets and priests;

Filled with the Holy Ghost,

To come against the beast.

The Bible says that John,

Was filled with the Holy Ghost;

From His mother’s womb,

By the Lord of Hosts.

God knew Jeremiah,

Before He placed him in the womb.

He chose him to speak,

To save His people from doom.

I bind those blinding spirits:

Child sacrifice, and abortion.

I bind those blinding spirits:

Of murder, and deception.

I pray for mercy, and forgiveness,

For the blood on our hands;

Before swift judgment comes,

For disobeying God’s commands.

Based on John 8.44: Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of lies.

The devil is a liar,

He tries to make you feel:

Like God doesn’t care,

And God isn’t real.

He lies to you and says:

God’s not listening;

That God doesn’t care,

Your heart is breaking.

He tells you that you’re nothing,

Wants you to feel worthless;

If you knew who you were,

He would be powerless.

He is the father of lies,

A murderer from the beginning;

He doesn’t want you to know,

With God, you are winning.

God hears and answers,

Every prayer you pray;

With Yes and Amen,

Every single day.

I know it is difficult at times to have peace, especially in today’s world. There is so much wickedness and deception happening all around us. It is written in Philippians 4.7: And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. It is also written in Isaiah 26.3: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee. God’s Word is true. I know from experience that you can stand on every promise in His Word and He will never fail you. The secret to perfect peace in the midst of chaos is to keep your eyes on Jesus. Remember when Peter began to walk on the water? He was fine until he took his eyes off of Jesus and began to look at the circumstances. That is when Peter began to sink, crying: “Lord, save me!” And of course, Jesus did. No matter what is going on in your life, or how hopeless the situation may appear; I promise that if you keep your eyes on Jesus and call on His Name, He will answer you! Sometimes He sends others to help. Sometimes He sends His angels. If you are in the lion’s den or in a fiery furnace, He will show up Himself. He knows what we need before we ask. He promised to answer before we call. He knows the end from the beginning. Beloved, do not fear. Hope thou in God. Turn your worries and doubts into praise and turn your eyes upon Jesus. He cannot fail. Test Him for yourself. He is our Prince of Peace forever and ever.

The Hebrew word for “peace” is “shalom.” Shalom is translated as peace and is also used as both a greeting and farewell. “Peace” or “shalom” does not simply mean the opposite of war or lack of conflict. According to Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance: “peace” or “shalom” means: completeness, soundness, wholeness, prosperity, harmony, welfare, equity, loyalty, success, both physically and spiritually. It is also a blessing and a manifestation of divine grace. May The Prince of Peace shed HIS grace on you and give you HIS perfect peace, HIS shalom!

Isaiah 9.6: For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

John 14.27: Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

Isaiah 59.8: The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their goings: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goeth therein shall not know peace.

2 Corinthians 13.11: Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you.

Isaiah 54.10: For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from thee, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, saith the LORD that hath mercy on thee.

Colossians 3.15: And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Luke 10.6: And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

2 Thessalonians 3.16: Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Romans 5.1-5: Therefore, being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience, and experience hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

1 Thessalonians 5.23: And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

John 16.33: These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Based on Isaiah 26.3: Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

I won’t deny Jesus again!

I refuse to let fear or doubt in.

He has shown me His Mighty Hand,

And helped me to understand.

He made a way out of no way,

He gave me all I have today.

Provision was sent from above;

He has shown me His great love.

He healed me while at death’s door,

Like so many times before.

He put a roof over my head.

He got me out of my sickbed.

He fed me with angel’s food.

He gave me a right attitude.

He gave me favor with so many.

He fought all my battles for me.

I have victory in each circumstance.

The devil didn’t have a chance.

The enemy came in like a flood;

To kill, destroy; he wanted blood.

But the Angel of the Lord,

Destroyed him with his mighty sword.

He defeated all my foes,

So every day, my faith grows.

The devil tried to steal my joy;

God showed up, he was destroyed.

The devil came to steal my peace;

Praise Jesus’ Name, my soul’s at ease.

Based on Proverbs 3.5-6: Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

To all “Worriers,"

I have a word from the Lord.

Trust God and not the flesh,

Ulcers you can’t afford.

It’s a proven fact,

Most sickness and disease,

Comes from stress,

And anxieties.

When you trust God,

With each area of your life,

You’ll know peace like a river,

Regardless of strife.

You’ll mount up with wings,

Like the eagles do.

Things will look different,

From a higher view.

In this world we’ll have,

Trials and tribulation.

His death on the Cross,

Overcame all of them.

We need not worry,

Or fear the enemy;

Stand on God’s promises,

The devil will flee.

Turn all your worries,

Into warfare:

Grab your shield of faith,

And leave them there.

God is all powerful,

There’s nothing He can’t do.

Cast all your cares on Him,

He’ll take care of you.

Based on Matthew 6.6: But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

God contends with those,

Who contend with you.

What you do in secret,

He will reward you.

He knows your heart,

Understands how you feel.

All your prayers are answered,

Every time you kneel.

No matter how it looks,

Or what comes against you,

Keep your eyes on Jesus:

He’ll always come through.

Peter walked on water,

And didn’t even blink.

When he took his eyes off Jesus,

Then he began to sink.

He gives us peace,

That passes understanding.

Call on Him,

Blessings will be landing.

His angels camp around,

Those who trust in Him.

He’s always near,

Even when it looks grim.

Keep your mind,

On things above;

Remember His great,

Mercy, and love.

No weapon formed,

Against us shall prosper.

God is always with us,

We must remember.

Based on1 Samuel 17.51: Therefore, David ran, and stood upon the Philistine, and took his sword, and drew it out of the sheath thereof, and slew him, and cut off his head therewith. And when the Philistines saw their champion was dead, they fled. Also meditate on 2 Timothy 1.7: For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Who’s this uncircumcised Philistine,

Threatening with words?

It’s your head that’s coming off,

Your flesh will be fed to birds.

How dare you mock the God of Israel?

You come with sword and spear.

I come to you in the Name of my God:

JEHOVAH only do I fear.

David killed Goliath,

With his sword, cut off his head.

The Philistines ran,

When they saw their champion dead.

David went to Saul,

With his head in his hand.

He said: “I’m the Son of Jesse,

Of Bethlehem.”

“When I kept my father’s sheep,

I killed a lion and a bear.

I give God all credit,

I always knew He was there.

When I was alone,

Keeping my father’s sheep;

I never knew fear,

He gave His Beloved sweet sleep.”

God did not give us,

A spirit of fear,

He promised,

He would always be near.

He gave us power,

Love, and a sound mind.

His perfect peace,

I pray you find.

Fix your eyes on Jesus,

He is always near;

An army may surround you,

But do not fear.

We’re surrounded,

By a heavenly host,

Angels with power,

From the Holy Ghost.

Based on Hebrews 13.8: Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and today, and forever.

Lord, please do,

The same for me,

Provide like You did,

For Ruth and Naomi.

Protect me like Daniel,

In the lion’s den.

Deliver me like,

The three Hebrew men.

Heal me like the woman,

With the issue of blood.

She touched your clothes,

You stopped her flood.

Save me from enemies,

Like at the Red Sea;

Do the same today,

Let my enemies see.

Save me like the woman,

At the well.

You showed mercy,

Saved her soul from hell.

Protect me like David,

From every enemy;

Like Saul and Absalom,

Make them flee.

Defend me like the woman,

Caught in adultery.

You shamed them instead,

And set her free.

Free me like You did,

The demoniac.

Deliver me from every,

Attack and setback.

Like Gideon,

With only three hundred men:

They blew trumpets,

You fought for them.

Save Your people,

Give peace and rest.

Let the world see,

Because of You, we’re blessed.

Based on Isaiah 40.1: Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Also meditate on Revelation 20.10: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.

It’s unreal,

Deception is worldwide;

Beheadings and children,

Are being  crucified.

There’s evil like,

The Roman Empire.

Deception is rampant,

The devil is a liar.

Father, I humble,

myself, and I pray.

I stand in the gap,

Make it go away.

Anoint me,

Like You did Jehu.

Loose angels to thrust,

The enemy through.

I will watch, pray,

And rout with a shout;

Until You call,

And take Your people out.

I praise You for power,

And authority,

Your Name, and Your Blood,

Guarantees victory.

Comfort Your people,

Your Chosen Ones today.

Hold them and grant them,

Shalom, I pray.

Lord, You know,

It’s my earnest desire;

To see Satan tormented,

In the lake of fire.

I’ll continue daily,

To stand in the gap,

Sharing the Gospel,

With those in his trap.

Like John prayed:

“Even so, Lord come!”

I’m looking up,

For our Prince of Shalom!

 I can only share what I have learned about the Holy Spirit through years of Bible study, prayer and seeking the face of God. The Holy Spirit, or Holy Ghost, is the third person of the Holy Trinity, which is made up of The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit. God gave us His Only Begotten Son to die for our sins to give us eternal life. The greatest gift that the Son of God gave to humanity was Himself. Jesus offered Himself to humanity through the Holy Spirit that you and I might have everlasting life, because of love. Love is something that you do. After Jesus resurrected from the dead and was seated at the right hand of the Father, He sent us the Comforter. The power of the Holy Spirit was the greatest gift He could give to His Church. The Holy Spirit’s mission is to reveal the Father through His Son. Jesus said” “I only do what I see my Father do.” Jesus also said: “If you have seen Me, you have seen the Father” and “I and My Father are One.” The Holy Spirit has a mind, a will and emotions. He gives us joy and He is our Comforter. He is the Breath of God. He has intellect, knowledge and He makes decisions. He is our teacher and guide. He testifies, convicts and leads. He encourages and strengthens us. He comforts us, helps us and intercedes for us. He reveals Truth and searches the deep things of God. He sanctifies us, bares witness to us and He forbids us. WARNING: The Holy Spirit can be lied to, resisted, grieved, quenched and blasphemed. DANGER: Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit / Holy Ghost is “THE UNPARDONABLE SIN.” It is written in Matthew 12.31, 32: Wherefore I say unto you, all manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

I used to be terrified of the Holy Spirit after I read the story of Ananias and Sapphira. It is written in Acts 5: 1-11: But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession, And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles’ feet. But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Ghost, and to keep back part of the price of the land? Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God. And Ananias hearing these words fell down, and gave up the ghost: and great fear came on all them that heard these things. And the young men arose, wound him up, and carried him out, and buried him. And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what was done, came in. And Peter answered unto her, Tell me whether ye sold the land for so much? And she said, Yea, for so much. Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out. Then fell she down straightway at his feet, and yielded up the ghost: and the young men came in, and found her dead, and, carrying her forth, buried her by her husband. And great fear came upon all the church, and upon as many as heard these things.

I believe it is a healthy thing to have a reverential fear of the Holy Spirit, because He is God. It is written in Matthew 10.28: And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The only sin for which there is no forgiveness, neither in this world or in the world to come, is against the Holy Spirit. I believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit. A lot of the babbling that people call speaking in an unknown tongue is not the Holy Spirit. It is a discredit to the One who is perfection. Much of what is attributed to the Holy Spirit is not the Holy Spirit and brings a reproach on the Holy Spirit. There are thousands who believe that just because they have uttered a few words in an unknown tongue, they are filled with the Holy Spirit. Most of them have never been filled with the Holy Spirit, and have never received the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They are just doing what they have been taught or mimicking others. This is a reproach.

It is written in John 14.12: Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also: and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father. What were the works Jesus did? It is written in Matthew 9.35: And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. It is written in Matthew 1.8: Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give.

As a true Disciple of Jesus Christ, you have been given the authority of the Name and the Blood of Jesus Christ, along with all the power of the Holy Ghost which worketh in you. It is HIS Power that heals the sick, cleanses the lepers, raises the dead and casts out devils. You must believe His Word, take your mustard seed of faith and GO! Faith without works is dead. A woman asked me why the church did not have the power to do these greater works today. I read Mark 2.22: And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles. I told her that the power has always been there, but we must repent, work out our salvation in fear and trembling before the Lord, pray without ceasing, trust and obey God and ask HIM to fill us with HIS Holy Spirit. HE must increase and we must decrease. We must die to self. We must consecrate ourselves in prayer and fasting. If you truly want God to use you, He will. You must ask, seek and knock. You must learn to hear HIS voice and not the voice of a stranger.

It is written in 1 Corinthians 12.1-12: Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led. Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost. Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

It is written in John 4.5-26: Then cometh he to a city of Samaria, which is called Sychar, near to the parcel of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph. Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied with his journey, sat thus on the well: and it was about the sixth hour. There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, Give me to drink. (For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.) Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria? For the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans. Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. The woman saith unto him, Sir, thou hast nothing to draw with, and the well is deep: from whence then hast thou that living water? Art thou greater than our father Jacob, which gave us the well, and drank thereof himself, and his children, and his cattle? Jesus answered and said unto her, Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. The woman saith unto him, Sir, give me this water, that I thirst not, neither come hither to draw. Jesus saith unto her, Go, call thy husband and come hither. The woman answered and said, I have no husband. Jesus said unto her, Thou hast well said, I have no husband: For thou hast had five husbands; and he thou now hast is not thy husband: in that sadist thou truly. The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet. Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship. Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father. Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth. The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am HE.

Do you really want to be born again? All you have to do is accept the gift of salvation. You can take it now. Do you want to be filled with the Precious Holy Spirit of God? All you have to do is ask for it, with your whole heart. You must desire it more than the air you breathe.

Matthew 3.16, 17: And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 12.31, 32: Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men. And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come.

Matthew 28.18-20: And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

John 14.16-18: And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.

2 Corinthians 13.14: The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. (The second epistle to the Corinthians was written from Philippi, a city of Macedonia, by Titus and Lucas.)

Acts 2.32, 33: This Jesus hath God raise up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed for this, which ye now see and hear.

Romans 8.26, 27: Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

1 Corinthians 2.11: For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? Even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

1 Corinthians 12.11: But one and the same spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually just as He wills.

Isaiah 63.10: Yet they rebelled and grieved his Holy Spirit. So he turned and became their enemy and he himself fought against them.

Luke 10.21: In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father, for so it seemed good in thy sight.

1 Thessalonians 1.6: And ye became followers of us, and of the Lord, having received the word in much affliction, with joy of the Holy Ghost: So that ye were ensamples to all that believe in Macedonia and Achaia.

1 Thessalonians 5.19: Quench not the Spirit.

John 15.26, 27: But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me: And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

John 16.7-11: Nevertheless, I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

Romans 8.14-17: For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

John 16.13: Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Acts 9.31: Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost, were multiplied.

Romans 15.16: That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable, being sanctified by the Holy Ghost.

Acts 16.6, 7: Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia. When they came to the border of Mysia, they tried to enter Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus would not allow them to.

Based on John 14.16-18: And I will pray the Father, and He shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you forever: Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him, for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. I will not leave you comfortless, I will come to you.

Thank You Father,

For the Gift of Your Son.

I rejoice in the Gift,

Of salvation.

In Jesus’ Name,

Abba, I ask Thee:

With Your Holy Spirit,

Please fill me.

You told Your Disciples,

Before You went away;

The Comforter would come,

And fill our clay.

Fill me Lord,

With Your Holy Ghost.

In Your sacrifice,

I will boldly boast.

You said I would do:

“Greater works than these.”

Fill me to the full,

With Your Holy Spirit, please!

I want all of You,

And none of me;

The spirit of Elijah,

Is now my plea.

Fill me like You did,

Those at Pentecost;

With boldness to witness,

To the lost.

Based on John 4.24: God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

Lord, I have believed in You,

From my youth.

Teach me how to worship,

In spirit and truth.

I know You created me,

For such a time as this.

I’m seeking Your will,

I don’t want to miss.

I know You have plans,

For my life that are good,

Teach me how to worship,

Like I should.

You said if I draw near,

You’d draw near to me;

I’m calling on the Name,

Of the Almighty.

You said You’d show me,

Great and mighty things.

I’m waiting to see,

What Your mercy brings.

I thank You for my life,

And life eternally.

I ask You to change me,

Renew a right spirit,

Inside of me,

Help me hear Your voice,

More clearly.

Make me more like,

Your Son every day.

Help me love my enemies,

And for them pray.

Based on Isaiah 64.8: But now, O LORD, thou art our father; we are the clay, and thou our potter, and we all are the work of thy hand.

Only You know what’s inside of me.

You’re the Potter, I’m the clay.

With Your Holy Spirit,

Please fill me today.

The vessel doesn’t know,

If it’s full of water or wine.

The Potter knows what He put inside,

Because the vessel is Thine.

Empty me of everything,

Let nothing be left inside;

Except what You fill me with,

Let there be no hint of pride.

May I never forget,

You’re the Potter, I’m the clay;

I pray Your will be done in my life,

Every single day.

The vessel is what You have made,

You designed it by Your hand.

Only You know what’s inside;

Without You, it can’t stand.

Based on Psalms 118.24: This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

I praise You Lord,

For another day.

I’ll rejoice and be glad,

Come what may.

I give You honor ,

And glory too,

For everything,

That You do.

Tomorrow is promised,

To none of us,

There’s just one thing,

I’d like to discuss.

Please save my family,

Before it’s too late,

Help me witness,

To those lying in wait.

There are lost souls,

All around me,

Open their eyes,

And let them see.

Open their ears,

So they can hear;

Your voice, not mine:

I volunteer.

Fill me with Your,

Spirit and Fire,

Like Pentecost,

Is my desire.

By faith I receive,

Every spiritual gift.

Give me boldness,

Make my feet swift.

Based on Proverbs 9.10: The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Fear of the LORD is,

The beginning of wisdom.

There’s no reverence of God,

That’s the problem.

The church wants to run,

Hoop, and holler;

Roll on the floor,

Like pigs in a squaller.

They claim to have,

Revival going on;

In truth, its nothing,

But  deception.

They’re breeding grounds,

For jezebel witches,

Doctrines of demons,

For those whose ear itches.

The True Church,

Of the Living God,

Knows He’s coming soon,

With a judgement rod.

The True Church of Christ,

Spends time in prayer;

Worshipping and seeking,

His will, that’s rare.

The True Church fasts,

Spends time consecrating;

In true repentance,

On Him they’re waiting.

Don’t forget,

Ananias and Sapphira died,

Because to the Holy Ghost,

They foolishly lied.

You may fool the world,

Your family and church;

But God knows your heart,

His eyes daily search.

I pray we wake up,

And truly repent,

So we don’t wake up,

In hell’s torment.
