GROW IN GRACE. Posted 070320 @ 12.22 pm

I have a word for the Body. The Father is saying: GROW IN GRACE. It is written in 2 Peter 3.18: But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever. Amen. My grace is sufficient for thee; for My strength is made perfect in weakness. For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is My gift. I resist the proud but give grace unto the humble. I commended My love toward you, in that, while ye were yet sinners, Christ died for you. Therefore, come boldly unto My throne of grace, that ye may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. They that wait upon Me shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Therefore, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of the apostles of your Lord and Savior; knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, saying: Where is the promise of His coming. I am not slack concerning My promise but am longsuffering, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, the earth also and the works that are therin shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness, looking for and hastening unto the coming of My day, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? According to My promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness. And seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found in peace, without spot, and blameless, and account that My longsuffering is salvation. Seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own steadfastness.

Of that day and hour knoweth no man, not even the angels of heaven, therefore, be ye also ready; for in such an hour as ye think not, the Son of man cometh. Watch therefore, for ye know not what hour your Lord doth coming. And that, knowing the time, it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now is your salvation nearer than when ye believed. And except those days be shortened, there should no flesh be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from My presence, but now I command all men everywhere to repent. Those of you, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for a helmet, the hope of salvation. For I have not appointed you to wrath, but to obtain salvation by your Lord jesus Christ, who died for you, that whether ye wake or sleep, ye should live together with Him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together and edify one another. Know them which labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you; and esteem them very highly in love for their work’s sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

For My eyes are over the righteous, and My ears are open unto their prayers; but My face is against them that do evil. And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good? But if ye suffer for righteousness’ sake, happy are ye; and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; but sanctify Me in your hearts; and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear; having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. For it is better, if it be My will, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. GROW IN GRACE. Amen.
