PRAY FOR THE PERSECUTED. Posted 070619 @ 8.22 pm
I have a word for the Body. The Father is saying: PRAY FOR THE PERSECUTED. It is written in 2 Timothy 3.12: Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. If the world hates you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. But I say unto you: Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you, but rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when His glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for My Spirit resteth upon you: on their part He is evil spoken of, but on your part He is glorified. For it is better, if it be My will that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing. But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled; having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ. Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake. Marvel not, if the world hate you, for they hated Me first. Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. Be not weary in well doing; for in due season ye shall reap, if ye faint not. Wherefore seeing ye also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset you, and run with patience the race that is set before you. Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. For if any be a hearer of the Word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass, for he beholdeth himself and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith ye understand that the worlds were framed by My Word, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. By faith Abel offered unto Me a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, and by it he being dead yet speaketh. By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because I translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony: that he pleased Me. But without faith it is impossible to please Me: for he that cometh to Me must believe that I am, and that I am a rewarder of them that diligently seek Me. By faith Noah, being warned by Me of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith. By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: for he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is Myself.
Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged Me faithful. Therefore, sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea-shore innumerable. These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth. For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country, and truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned. But now they desire a better country, that is a heavenly; wherefore I am not ashamed to be called their God; for I have prepared for them a city. By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, of whom it was said: That in Isaac shall thy seed be called; accounting that I was able to raise him up even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure. By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come. By faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph; and worshiped, leaning upon the top of his staff. By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; choosing rather to suffer affliction with My people, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he had respect unto the recompense of the reward. By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible. Through faith he kept the Passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them. By faith they passed through the Red Sea as by dry land; which the Egyptians assaying to do were drowned. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they were compassed about seven days. By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not, when she received the spies with peace.
And what shall I say more? For the time would fail Me to tell of Gideon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jepthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets; who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword; out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. Women received their dead raised to life again; and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection; and others had trial of cruel mockings and scourging, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment. They were stoned, sawn asunder, tempted, slain with the sword; they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; OF WHOM THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY. They wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise; knowing that I have provided some better thing for them. PRAY FOR THE PERSECUTED. Amen.
ALL IS WELL, WELL IS ALL, AND YOU AIN’T SEEN NUTHIN’ YET!!!
