The Church of Jesus Christ:
We believe that His house is a house of prayer. We believe that the Church consists of the Body of Christ. We believe that it is disobedience for Believers not to assemble together in unity, for the purpose of prayer, Bible study, worship and edification. We believe that it is absolutely necessary to have a personal relationship with the Lord. We believe that every Believer must study the Holy Bible daily. We believe that every Believer has been given access to the throne of Grace.
Ephesians 2:20-22 - And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner [stone];
Matthew 16:18 - And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Acts 20:28 - Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
The Body of Christ:
Ephesians 4:16 - From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
1 Corinthians 12:27 - Now ye are the body of Christ, and members in particular.
Colossians 1:18 - And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all [things] he might have the preeminence.
Romans 12:3-5 - For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think [of himself] more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
1 Corinthians 1:10 - Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
Ephesians 4:1-6 - I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
1 Corinthians 11:27-30 - Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink [this] cup of the Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.

Leonard Ravenhill was a great man of prayer and even more importantly, a man who knew God. He devoted his whole life to being intimate with God and trying to bring others to the same. He prayed for Revival, looked for Revival and longed for Revival. He was a prophet to the Church of his time.
